I’m Amy, the voice behind Golden & Gathered. I’m a homeschool mom in my forties, a retired travel advisor, scarf enthusiast, cocktail appreciator, and someone who firmly believes that life’s better with good books, a drink, and just the right throw pillow.
After over seven years of helping people plan dream vacations – mostly Disney, I decided to retire from travel advising and lean into slower, more intentional living—though let’s be honest, I still mentally plan trips while unloading the dishwasher.
I started Golden & Gathered to create a space for the things I love: cozy style, welcoming spaces, great drinks (usually made by my husband, Michael—my personal bartender of 20+ years), good reads, and everyday beauty that doesn’t require a filter or a fresh blowout.
